Ravago

World's largest polymer distributor 🏭

Doing UI/UX consultancy in multidisciplinary teams, working one-on-one with developers, business stakeholders, and UX researchers for the world's largest polymer distributor.

Starting off with a 6-week prestige project, on creating an 'Amazon for plastics' prototype in Figma. Hundreds, if not thousands of links, between all the frames/designs, to create a compelling interactive iPad design to spark the conversation with suppliers.

To make sure we did not distort the conversation with those suppliers, we made sure to use the right products and banners within the prototypes. To make this happen, we had weekly meetings with delegates from the suppliers to align the content. This also made sure we kept the right pace.

Furthermore, to fully express the possibilities with us, we flooded the prototype with various eCommerce patterns - ranging from; willingness to pay using express delivery options and cheaper payment methods, including scarcity with ‘nearly out of stock!’ badges and e-mails with dynamic countdowns and much, much more. And of course, the prototype contained animations and loading/shimmers to make it pop.

Now, this only concluded the first 6-weeks for this long-term contract with this company. Obviously, I’ve covered more design challenges at the company. Ranging from expanding and updating tons of components within the design system, working with design tokens and variables, but also updating design flows.
